PROBLEM:
The heat generated by diesel engines causes the diesel fuel to thermally degrade and oxidize, leading to depositfouled
injectors and plugged fuel filters. The result is dramatic loss of power, hard starts, a decrease in fuel efficiency,
and potential engine damage. ULSD does not contain sufficient lubricity to protect fuel components and
can actually promote fuel injector and fuel pump wear. Further, cold weather promotes fuel waxing, which can
plug fuel filters and pump strainers.
SOLUTION:
BG DFC Plus® Easy Treat prevents fuel deposits from forming, protects components from corrosion, reduces fuel
breakdown, protects from the abrasiveness of low sulfur fuel, and restores optimum fuel efficiency. It stays fluid in
very low temperatures and optimizes cold temperature performance, and prevents entrained water from freezing.

USAGE:
Usage: Add to each tank of fuel. One 6 ounce (177 mL) bottle treats 10-40 gallons (40-150 liters) of diesel fuel. In
cold weather, fuel must be treated at temperatures above the cloud point of the fuel. If the fuel has already gelled,
it cannot be effectively treated.
